ankle boots
this fall you won’t be able to swing your purse without hitting a girl in ankle boots (accidentally of course). it’s the must-have boot silhouette of the season and there are soooo many good options. above are 9 of my favorite mid-heel ankle boots (i left out the amazing isabel marant dicker boots for price/availability reasons – sigh). i think i am pretty set with my tan rachel comey mars boots and my black no.6 biker boots…. but maybe there’s room for a #5 or #6 – hehe!

I would love to find an inexpensive pair since I am on a budget. I tried on a cute pair at Old Navy but I am in between sizes and they did not fit

yes, ankle boots can sometimes create an outfit challenge, but once you get it down they are very versatile! i will definitely put together some outfit ideas soon – thanks!

I recently brought a pair of ankle boots from Aldo. In a rust color. I just love them. they are a 2″ heels and suede. I also would love if you put some outfit ideas together on your blog with ankle boots. Pants, skirts, and dress, but esp. pants. I love when you put outfits together. They really help give me ideas for how to wear some things that I never thought I could put off. Love your blog.

I recently bought the Dolce Vitas (#6). I’m generally challenged in the heel department, but I can wear them all day! They for sure require a few hits of Scotch Guard, but I think they’re a versatile Marant consolation prize that will stick around for many seasons to come.
I just got a pair of the black no. 6 boots yesterday! I was nervous to order them because I’m a bit between sizes…. but with thick socks they will do.
